As a bonus with the LOS JHARIS DE ÑAÑA 12" will come a 45 single by SENSACION SHIPIBO from Pucallpa. They bring something fresh to table: cumbia-masha, a mix of modern sounds with traditional song writing and are part of a new movement set forth by the previous band they played in called LOS SHIPIS where they sing in their native Shipibo language.
We here at Mass Tropicas not only want to bring old forgotten gems to the table but we would also bring something as new and genuine as SENSACION SHIPIBO. In a sea modern cumbia acts coming from all over the world we feel that this really sticks out and deserves attention. It was recorded live in Pucallpa by a friend and myself at a nightclub in Yarinacocha, Pucallpa.
